Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on the 1st of October, 1995, in Berkeley, California, USA. She is a famous actress that has appeared in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is comprised of actors and she has also been doing both professions. As a young girl she was first seen in her debut film Sergio Cittis's Sogni e bisogni. She played the principal part in Cristina Comencini's debut motion picture Zoo (1988) and as well as being part of Michele Soavi's ensemble for The Church (1989). In the following year, she was Nanni Moretti's daughter Red Wood Pigeon (1989) (also directed by Moretti). Close Friends (1992), directed and written by Michele Placido was the film that really launched Asia's professional path. It was her first time moving from roles of a young girl to mature and complex ones. Cannes International Film Festival received the film well. The Phantom of The Opera is her third film with her father. Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome were her previous two. The Phantom of the Opera is her third movie she has made with her father. The other two being Trauma and The Stendhal SyndromeAsia's absorbed, aggressive style of acting was well-loved by Giuseppe Picioni's Condannato A Nozze. In 1993, she played a part in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista in which she portrayed Arianna who was a disabled girl. This was an intricate and difficult role that won she an award from David di Donatello for best actress . In addition, she had a prominent performance in the international ensemble of Queen Margot produced by Patrice Chereau. Her 1995 collaboration together with Michel Piccoli, in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion won her yet another award from David di Donatello and Grolla of Oro. Asia took up directing as profession in 1994. Her first short film was Prospettive. A documentary she wrote about her father and then Abel/Asia (1998) the film that was awarded a prize during the Rome Film Festival in 1998. They were each directed between 1996 and 1998. Asia's first feature length film debut came in the form of Scarlet Diva (2000) in 1999. In it, she was the lead actor as well as wrote the screenplay. The film premiered worldwide in May 2000. It was awarded a special award by the Williamsburg Festival of Film in Brooklyn. Anna Lou was her first born daughter in 2001. After having directed a number of music videos, she got Anna Lou. The year 2002 saw Asia on The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action thriller, which was directed by Vin Diesel. Asia also has a selection of stories that have been published in some of the most prestigious magazines.
